With a CUET score of 498, you're below the usual cutoff (?680–760/800) needed for Computer Science at University of Hyderabad. Unfortunately, admission to that programme isn't likely this year. You should look at mid-tier Central or State universities where closing scores fall in the 400–600 range.

University of Hyderabad admission to all the courses (offered at the University campus) begins in June every year, and registration closes in August. However, for MBA programmes, the registration process starts in November and closes in January for the upcoming academic batch. Out of all the courses, the University is popularly known for its MSc and MA programmes. To be eligible for all courses offered by the university, students are required to meet the minimum criteria set by it. A few of the popular courses offered by Hyderabad University along with their eligibility criteria is as follows:

The eligibility criteria for a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication are that students must have completed graduation in any degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks for general category candidates and a minimum of 45 percent marks for scheduled caste category candidates from any recognised university or institute.
