UPES DAT 2026 entrance exam will be conducted soon after the application form closes. The exam scores will be used for admission to B.Des, Integrated (B.Des) (M.Des), and M.Des courses offered by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES).

On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.

The application form for UPES DAT 2026 is open now; the application has to be filled online. The last date to fill out the application form hasn't been announced yet.

PDEU (School of Liberal Studies) offers a regular BBA (Hons) course in three specialisations such as BBA (Hons) in Marketing, Finance and HR. The course is of a four-year duration and is offered in a full-time mode. The course is offered by SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU). PDEU BBA (Hons.) admission is based on merit in SAT Score + Interview or Aptitude Test, Creative Writing + Interview.

The School of Liberal Studies offers four-year undergraduate programs in B.A. (Hons.), B.B.A. (Hons.), and B.Com. (Hons.) with its initial two years of common academic education enables students to make an informed choice about their specializations for the following two years.

SLS also offers Master's programs in Public Administration, Politics and International Relations, English, Psychology, Economics, Mass Communication and Master of Commerce. The school also offers Ph.D. programs in Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, Business Administration, and Commerce.

It can honestly be answered by an alumni of the institute only. However, 32.5% of students could pass this course in recent years. But you can rely on their shortlisting procedure as it only allows the competent candidates through its selection procedure. In a nutshell, after being shortlisted if you focus on upgrading your skills as per their curriculum, a bright future is awaiting you.

You have to secure at least 50% marks in X and XII and minimum 50% marks in four year Bachelor degree. You have to either appear for DAT or apply with valid CEED score followed by interview and portfolio presentation.

M.Des at UPES School of Design is a two-year course. For the first two semesters you have to pay INR 227000/- as tuition fees and 75000/- as academic service fees total of INR 302000/- per semester and for the last two semesters the tuition fees and the academic service fees would be INR 243000/- and 81000/- respectively total 324000/- per semester. The two year course would cost you INR 1252000/- excluding training and certification fees, personality development courses fees, identity card fees etc. The institute offers financial aid as per needs.

For admission to B.Des at UPES School of Design you have to score at least 50% at X & XII. You have to either clear DAT or apply with JEE MAIN/UCEED/NID/NIFT scores to be eligible for interview and portfolio presentation.
