BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BTech are available in 10 specialisations under School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES School of Health Sciences & Technology (SOHST). The selection for BTech course will be based on national-level entrance exams. The university also conducts its own UPESEAT exam for providing admission to BTech courses. The cost of BSc (Hons) at School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES is around INR 5.7 lakh. The fee is sourced from official sources. But may vary. Candidates might have to pay one time fees at the admission. The fees might include components other than hostel fee, which will be included in the admission fee.

Aspirants can get admission in BSc (Hons) via their CUET-UG scores. However, it is not compulsory. Candidates are also offered admission based on their merit. Aspirants must meet the eligibility to apply for BSc (Hons) courses.

UPES School of Health Sciences and Technology accepts scores in JEE Main, CUET, UPESEAT, UPESPAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Candidates can also get admission without entrance exam scores. The school conducts a PI round for admission to BSc (Hons) and MSc programmes.

BTech is one of the popular courses of UPES Dehradun offered via School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES . As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020.
