Selection for UPES Dehradun BTech course depends on JEE Main/CUET UG scorecard. Alternatively, 50 percentile in SAT India Score and 75%-80% in Class 12. Or, you can also appear for UPESESAT which is conducted by the university. The eligibility depends on minimum marks of 50% in aggregate for Class 10 and Class 12. The subject combination is as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in Class 12.

Yes, it is possible to get into UPES without writig an entrance exam since the univerity offers direct admission to a number of courses, namely Non-Exam Pathway, BBA, BSc, BTech and BCom courses. While admission to a majority of courses is also offered basis university level entrance exams, the university mentios this route of admission on it official website.

The total tuition fee for BTech/ BTech (Hons) ranges between INR 9.46 Lacs and INR 18.32 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee is calculated based on tuition fee and does not includes other fee components. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. Yes, UPES Dehradun accepts JEE Main score for admission to BTech/ BTech (Hons) course. However, aspirants must also pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 to apply with JEE Main or CUET score. Candidates must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. Yes, candidates can get admission at UPES Dehradun for BTech after Class12. Check below eligibility:
- Minimum 60% marks in both Class X and Class XII.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class XII.
- JEE Main score of at least 50 percentile, along with:
- Minimum 50% marks in Class X,
- Minimum 50% marks in Class XII, and
- Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM.
