The total tuition fee for BTech/ BTech (Hons) ranges between INR 9.46 Lacs and INR 18.32 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee is calculated based on tuition fee and does not includes other fee components. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The selection to BTech course will be based on national and university-level entrance exams like JEE Main/ CUET/ SAT India/ UPESEAT or merit in the last qualifying exam. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for BTech course is INR 1,350. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. 

Yes, UPES Dehradun accepts JEE Main score for admission to BTech/ BTech (Hons) course. However, aspirants must also pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 to apply with JEE Main or CUET score. Candidates must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects. Candidates can also appear for UPESEAT conducted by the university. As soon as the selection round gets over, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. UPES BTech fee ranges between INR 10.2 lakh - INR 18.5 lakh as per an unofficial source.
