The number of vacancies in UPPSC exams is inversely proportional to the cutoff marks. This means that an increase in the number of vacancies can reduce the cutoff marks, while a decrease in vacancies can increase the cutoff marks. The UPPSC PCS exam is conducted in three stages: prelims, mains, and interview, and the cutoff is released separately for each stage. The UPPSC PCS Prelims Cutoff 2024 is expected to be lower due to the increased number of vacancies, as per the UPPSC PCS Prelims Cutoff 2022.
