The Union Public Service Commission has released the IAS prelims result 2024 on its official website - upsc.gov.in. The Commission. The Commission did not release the UPSC IAS cutoff with the result. The Commission conducted the UPSC IAS prelims exam on June 16, 2024.  The UPSC IAS prelims exam was postponed because of the General Elections in the country.

No, you cannot get the UPSC admit card from the exam center. Candidates are required to download their UPSC admit card from the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) before the examination.

The Commission mention in the official notification that the candidates will be required to download their admit card from the official website and no admit card will be available in offline mode.

The candidates can know their UPSC roll number in the manner given below:

  • Go to the oportal of Union Public Service Commission.
  • Follow the admit card link floating under the What's New section.
  • Click on the link, enter the registration number and password.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Check your roll number as mentioned on the admit card.

The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC 2024 main exam from September 20, 2024. The exam will continue for two weekends. The UPSC 2024 Main (written) Exam result is expected to be declared in December 2024. The candidates should note that the UPSC prelims 2024 result will be declared in June first week. 

The candidates should note that the final result for UPSC 2024 exam will be released in April 2025.

The candidates should note that there is no minimum marks that can be ascretained for the IAS. The final UPSC merit list is based on the marks secured in the main (written) and personlaity test condcuted at Dholpur House, UPSC. The Commission arrange the candidates in the order of their merit and select top candidates for the Indian Administrative Service if they have opted for it as their first choice. 

The minimum marks for IAS cannot be asertained as the cutoff for each year differs from year to year.
