Yes, the UPSC ESE (IES) 2023 final result has been released on November 22. The Union Public Service Commission released the names and roll number of the qualified candidates in the UPSC IES Result 2023. The Commission selected 401 candidates for the Indian Engineering Service under different streams.
The UPSC conducted the IES 2023 main exam in June and the interviews were conducted from September to November 2023. The Commission mentioned 486 vacancies in the final result notice. The Commission also notified the IES 2024 exam dates. The UPSC IES 2024 exam will be conducted on Feburary 18, 2024.

In the IAS interview test, candidates will be judged on different skills stated below: Mental Alertness, Critical Powers of Assimilation, Clear and Logical Exposition, Balance of Judgement, Variety and Depth of Interest, Ability for Social Cohesion and Leadership, Intellectual and Moral Integrity. The candidates must prepare the five fundamental subjects as notified for the IAS prelims exam. These are History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Current Affairs, General Science. The candidates should also prepare the Environmental issues too.

YCMOU's degree and post-graduate degree courses are duly recognised and approved by the ‘ University Grant Commission (UGC)’. So, yes Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University BA degree is valid for all the competitive examinations, including UPSC.

The last date to apply for the UPSC IAS 2026 exam was February 27, 2026. The Commission released the IAS 2026 notification on February 04, 2026.
