UPSSSC Exam

The UPSSSC PET (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test) is an examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission to determine the eligibility of candidates for various government job vacancies in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Clearing the UPSSSC PET exam itself does not guarantee a job. The purpose of the exam is to establish eligibility for candidates to participate in further selection processes conducted by the Commission, such as competitive exams or interviews, for specific job vacancies.

Once you clear the UPSSSC PET exam, you become eligible to apply for various government job vacancies advertised by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. However, securing a job depends on various factors, including the availability of vacancies, the number of applicants, your performance in subsequent selection processes, and the final merit list.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) allows the candidates to retrieve the UPSSSC VDO roll number from the official website-upsssc.gov.in. The steps to retrieve the roll number for the UP VDO/ Gram Vikas Adhikari exam is given below:

• Go to the official website 
• Click on the ' Candidates Help' 
• Click on ' Know your Roll Number' 
• The form will appear on the screen to know the UP VDO roll number 
• Fill out the details asked in the form- Candidate's name, Father's name & Date of Birth 
• Fill out the captcha code available on the screen
• Click on the search button
• The UP VDO roll number will appear on the screen

There is no recommended dress code by the UPSSSC  in order to appear for the UP VDO exam. However, the candidates taking the exam are advised to do the following thing before appearing for the exam:

• Attire: Candidates should not wear shoes or footwear with thick soles. Also, candidates must not wear clothes with large buttons or steel buttons to the test centre.  
• Personal belongings: Candidates should not carry any personal belongings such as mobile phones, purses or electronic devices such as calculators inside the test centre. Exam authority will not be responsible for the safe keep of the personal belongings of candidates.

The UPSSSC VDO exam is designed to assess the eligibility of candidates for  Group C position in the Uttar Pradesh government.
