Common exams to pursue MS in USA are GRE or GMAT. Furthermore, international students are required to appear for English language proficiency tests as well such as IELTS / TOEFL / PTE, etc. A few programs have additional requirements as well. However, the general requirement with these tests is also having a Bachelor's degree. A few universities may also require work experience. Out of 650+ MS in USA Universities listed on this page, 400+ accept GRE.

Decision between St. Petersburg College (USA) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT, India) for B.Tech is based on your preference. VIT is a highly rated private college in India, offering high-quality education, great infrastructure, and very good placement figures with firms like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. It provides more options in specialised B.Tech courses. In contrast, St. Petersburg College is a smaller school with a lower cost of living but whose B.Tech courses might not give the same level of exposure and placement prospects as VIT. For improved career opportunities, VIT is overall a better choice.
