The application fee for all the PG courses is INR 600. Candidates are required to submit this fee to successfully submit the application form. The payment is only accepted through SBI e-Pay for all the courses. A receipt with the payment details must be kept for future reference. In case of any doubt, students can also visit the web portal of Utkal University e-admission (utkaluniversity.nic.in). Furthermore, as per the last year's data, the application fee for MTech/MPhil and PhD courses is INR 1,000 and INR 1,500, respectively.

Utkal University offers a 3-year BSc programme in 12 specialisations. The specialisations are Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Physics, Statistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mathematics, Geology, Geography, Computer Science and Applications, and Chemistry. The total tuition of the course ranges from INR 360 to INR 2.3 lakh. To apply for the BSc course, candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria, which is that they must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board.

Utkal University offers various PG courses. It offers two-year MBA, MCA, MCom, MTech, MSc, LLM, and MA courses. The MSc is offered in 10 specialisations. The university also offers MPhil and PhD courses in 30 different specialisations. The minimum course duration for a PhD is three years, with a maximum of six years. The minimum course duration for an MPhil is two years, whereas the maximum course duration is five years. The university also offers sponsored courses to the students, like a five-year integrated MBA, an MCA, and other courses.
