Utkal University offers a 3-year BSc programme in 12 specialisations. The specialisations are Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Physics, Statistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mathematics, Geology, Geography, Computer Science and Applications, and Chemistry. The total tuition of the course ranges from INR 360 to INR 2.3 lakh. Utkal University offers various PG courses. It offers two-year MBA, MCA, MCom, MTech, MSc, LLM, and MA courses. The MSc is offered in 10 specialisations. The university also offers MPhil and PhD courses in 30 different specialisations. The minimum course duration for a PhD is three years, with a maximum of six years. Yes, Utkal University has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are a total of 13 hostels, six for boys and seven for girls. Every hostel has a common room where boarders are provided with computer, WiFi, Library, newspapers, periodicals, and television. The students are also provided with computational facilities and WiFi. Each hostel has a mess facility.
