Candidates must have obtained at least a 50% overall grade in their 10+2 course. The university releases its cutoff list every year.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, such as BSc in IT/CS, BCA, BE/BTech in IT or CS, with at least a 50% graduation average.

The formula to calculate CGPA in VNSGU is CGPA = (grade points obtained in a course of the last two semesters of programme X credit)/ total credits of the course of the last two semesters of the programme. It is given at the end of each programme i.e. at 6th sem if the programme has 6 semesters.

Any student who fails in any exam of one or more subjects will have to take a re-exam of the same with next semester's exams. You will have to fill out the back paper and clear it before the end semester. You will have to appear on both written and practical exams.
