The university conducts entrance exams for admission to courses, including BFA, BPT, BOPTM, BSc (Nursing), etc. Admission to the MBBS course at VNSGU is based on the NEET-UG score. Veer Narmad South Gujarat University accepts national-level exam scores for PG course admissions. For MBA, the CAT/CMAT score is accepted. While MD and MS courses admissions are through NEET-PG.

VNSGU is spread across a 200-acre sprawling campus with all the basic amenities, including separate hostels for boys and girls, an amphitheater, multiple seminar halls, a gymnasium, a canteen and an indoor stadium. In addition to this, the University has multiple cells for coordinating all the student-centric activities. The University has a Redressal Cell for handling grievances of the students with reference to examinations. It is headed by the Controller of Examinations.
