Hello Kasturi!

With the rank mentioned in the question, it is highly unlikely to secure admission to VSSUT or PMEC for CSE branch.

With this rank you have limited options, below is the list of options you can try:

  1. B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at DRIEMS University
  2. B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at ABIT Cuttack
  3. B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at ABIT Cuttack
  4. B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DRIEMS University

I hope it will help. You can reach out to us for further queries.

Thank You.

To answer your question, VSSUT Burla admission is not based on percentage obtained in class 12, but on performance in state and national level qualifying exams like JEE Main, GATE and OJEE. Admission to B.Tech programs is in the merit list announced by JEE Main, while admission to M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Phil programs are based on examinations conducted by the university so you score 60 per cent score in the board exam cannot directly affect your eligibility for VSSUT Burla. However, you should check the specific eligibility criteria and the process for choosing the programme you are interested in, as they may vary.

The five-year integrated BSc programme offered at VSSUT has received good reviews from the alumni and students. According to the verified Shiksha Reviews, the University provides limited placement opportunities to the students. The integrated MSc programme students have to try for off-campus placements. The infrastructure of the University is up to the mark. It has an awesome canteen and cafeteria. Faculty members of the University are good.
