B.Tech admissions at VJTI Mumbai start only after the MHT? CET exam and its result are out. Once the MHT? CET results are announced (usually mid-June), the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration opens (often late June or early July). Seats are allotted via CAP based on merit and CET scores—there's no separate VJTI form

The admission process for BTech course at both colleges, VJTI Mumbai and COEP Pune is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from Science stream with an aggregate of 45% Moreover, candidates are selected for COEP BTech admission and VJTI Mumbai BTech admission based on their performance in national-level exams such as JEE Main or MHT-CET.
Moreover, the NIRF ranking for COEP Pune in Engineering category is 77, and VJTI Mumbai lies between the ranks of 101 and 150. If we consider the factor of seating capacity, then COEP Pune offers 758 seats over 10 specializations, and VJTI Mumbai offers 540 se

The recent placement statistics for BTech courses at VJTI Mumbai are not released by the university yet. However, as per the previous placement statistics, the highest package offered to the BTech course in the year 2024 was INR 57 LPA. Further, the average package offered during Future University BTech placements 2024 stood at INR 20 LPA. For the B.Tech course in Information Technology at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, the cutoff for the general category (GOPENS) in the 2024 MHT CET is expected to be around 99 percentile. Last year, the cutoff was 99.84%. For other categories such as OBC and SC/ST, the cutoff percentile is generally lower, around 99-95 depending on the category.

The fee structure for UG courses at VJTI Mumbai for the academic year 2022-23 is as follows:
1. Engineering (B.E.) - Rs. 38,000 per annum for Maharashtra students and Rs. 1,50,000 per annum for Non-Maharashtra students.
2. Architecture (B.Arch.) - Rs. 38,000 per annum for Maharashtra students and Rs. 1,50,000 per annum for Non-Maharashtra students.
Note: The fees are subject to change as per the guidelines of the Government of Maharashtra and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
