The cutoff scores needed for VJTI Mumbai B.Tech admissions-

1. State Quota for Maharashtra (via MHT CET)
   Home State Candidates must score at least 135–150+ points out of 200 in the MHT CET examination.
2. To be eligible for the All India Seats Quota (via JEE Mains), general category students must score between 5,000 and 8,000 .
   The minimum JEE Mains rank required for the reserved SC/ST categories could range from 18,000 to 20,000.
3. Students in the general category must have an overall math, chemistry, and physics score of at least 75%.

4. According to Maharashtra state regulations, there are also a number of category-based relaxations.

The expected minimum score required to be admitted to VJTI's M.Tech programs -

•  GATE score: More than 600 points out of 1000
  The GATE scores of the students are used to shortlist them first. A better chance of making the cutoff is ensured if one scores more than 600 out of 1000. It does, however, differ by department.
• B.Tech percentage: When applying to M.Tech programs, VJTI also requires candidates to have a minimum of 75% aggregate score (or a CGPA of 7.5+) in their B.Tech or BE degrees.
