Hi dear,
COEP was established in 1854 and VJTI was established in 1887. Both are the oldest institutes in Asia. Both are government. Autonomous institutes. Course format and material are almost the same. Marginal difference is there in the syllabus. The campus of COEP is bigger and more advanced as compared to VJTI. More facilities and hostel available both for boys and girls. VJTI being in heart of Mumbai city, there is a shortage of hostel, which is being worked upon. In terms of infra, COEP is superior. Hi Dear,
It's like comparing an Apple tree with a mango tree. VJTI has B.Tech electronics and telecommunication course and CoEP has electrical engineering course as well. Coming to college comparison, VJTI and CoEP both have great study centered ambiance to provide. Can go for wherever you would like to stay, Mumbai or Pune. Also according to the cutoff which ever will be most likely to get admission in.

Admission in the above course is through CAP counseling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra on the basis of marks obtained in Diploma/ B.Sc.

Hi Sanket, Admission is through centralized counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) based on rank/ score in MHT-CET/ JEE Mains. It is difficult to confirm the cut off as it varies every year.

Yes, other state students can also get admission in VJIT however, the reservation for seats of outside students are unreserved.

Do not worry about your marks. The minimum aggregate is 50% required for admission in B.Tech in computer science and the admission is through centralized counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) based on rank/ score in MHT-CET/JEE Mains.

BS in robotics engineering, computer engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering allows graduates to work in robotics engineering. A Masters degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is necessary for many advanced and managerial positions.

You can get admission after appearing for the MHT-CET entrance test.
MHTCET Application Process
To register for MH CET, candidate have to visit the official website and follow the steps below:
Click "MHT-CET Registration" and fill-in the online form.

Yes, you can get admission directly in the 2nd year after completing your Diploma. Candidates must have passed diploma in engineering and technology and obtained at least 50 %
marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
