The min. eligibility criteria for admissions into BSc course at School of Hotel and Catering Management, VELS University is completing 12 standard with a decent scores. Also, the college release the merit list of selected students according to their Class 12 scores. 

The minimum eligibility for MSc at School of Hotel and Catering Management, VELS Institute of Science is passing UG, preferably, B.Sc Hotel Management/ B.Sc Food Science/ B.Sc Culinary Arts/ BA. Travel and Tourism Management. The selection criteria for the same is merit based.

The minimum eligibility for Diploma at School of Hotel and Catering Management, VELS Institute of Science is passing Class 10 from any board. The selection criteria for the same is merit based.

Admission to BSc course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The selected candidates based on the merit are called for counselling and document verification round. Candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total tuition fee for BSc ranges between INR 21,000 and INR 26.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee varies as per the BSc specialisation selected by the candidates. Only after paying the fee, the admission to the university will be confirmed.
