Vidyasagar University BSc admission is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12 with respective subjects from a recognised board. To secure BSc admission candidates must first register on the official website of the university followed by the application porcess. Further, students are shortlisted  based on merit in last qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the final BSc fee to finalise their admission at the university.

Vidyasagar University (Home University and autonomous College (s) affiliated to Vidyasagar University)offers seat reservation as per the latest order of the Govt. of West Bengal. The MSc seats are reserved for the SC and ST students. As per the reservation policy 22% of seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 6% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates in educational institutions.

Vidyasagar University application fee for INR 200 for the Directorate of Distance Education courses and INR 300 for the General/Unreserved Category. Candidates can pay the fee at the UCO Bank branch on campus.

To secure MSc admission candidates must first register on the official website of the university followed by the application porcess. Further, students are shortlisted  based on merit in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Vidyasagar University. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the final MSc fee to finalise their admission at the university.
