The selection criteria for the courses at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University is merit based for majority of the courses. However, candidates might be required to appear for entrance exams for some courses such as Karnataka PGCET for a few courses.

Now Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University provides almost every course but the most famous ones in this college are MBA, MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech. Also, more than 71 courses offered at Termination are research-based in different fields of professional direction. The university has a reasonable fee structure; the first-year MBA fees range from 28700 to 116000 depending on the elective offered by the university. The university also provides scholarships to appropriate students where merit scholarships vary from two thousand Indian Rupees to five thousand Indian Rupees annually.
