If we look at the tuition fee of VIT Pune and SIT Pune for the M.Tech programme, the tuition fee of VIT Pune is more affordable than SIT Pune. M.Tech tuition fee at VIT Pune in the range of INR 3 Lacs - 6 Lacs whereas VIT Pune has a tuition fee of INR 1.5 lakh. Both colleges offer M.Tech programmes through GATE & MHTCET entrance exams. Candidates should make their decision accordingly.

Both Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) and Indira Group of Institutes (IGI) in Pune have strong placement rates nevertheless there are some distinctions in terms of prospects and scope. IGI provides excellent placements especially in computer Science and management and many of its students land positions in reputable businesses. However a greater number of well-known recruiters visit VIT for campus placements, making it somewhat more established, especially in engineering. It depends on the sort of scholarship and the merit. The State Government, the Central Government, the Pune Corporation, and other organizations sponsor the many scholarships that the institute gives its students. Students must fill out the application form on these organizations' official websites and fulfill the requirements for the scholarship they want to receive. Among the scholarships offered by VIT Pune are the Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Yojana, Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna, and the Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students.
