Apart from VIT Vellore, there is no Vellore Institute of Technology.The sole institution and main campus is VIT Vellore. It has been noted that based on the course and lenghth chisen by the candidate, the cost of difference courses at VIT Vellore varies from INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 14.25 Lakh.

For take admission in VIT Vellore, you have to pass the exam VITEEE conducted by VIT itself.
The latest cutoff are based on the previous year VITEEE score.
The expected Cutoff rank for different branches in B.Tech is :
CSE - 7500
IT - 8000
ECE - 15000
CSE (Biometric) - 11000

VIT has 730 seats for computer Science and engineering, and around 700 seats for electronics and communication engineering. About 1,300 students study CSE at VIT, with 800 students having only core CSE and the rest specializing in CSE

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for NRI candidates require English in the qualifying exam, completion of 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology, a minimum 60% aggregate in PCM or PCB in standard XII, and a birth date after July 1, 2002. Marks of VITEEE exam are not disclosed by the University. VIT Vellore campus and CSE branch is the most preferred among students. You will have to get a good rank in the exam to get a seat in Vellore campus. As per the previous year cutoff, you should aim to score a rank below 1000.You will have to prepare well for the exam to score a good rank and secure seat in the main campus.

To be eligible for the B.Tech programme at VIT, you must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination. Reserved category (SC/ST) candidates can apply with 50% marks.
