No entrance exam is required for the MSc course at VIT-AP University. Candidates are shortlisted based on the SOP and the online personla interview conducted by the university. Furher, candidates must have BSc degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Applied Science from any recognised university with Physics, Mathematics, Botany, or Zoology as ancillary subjects with 60% aggregate.

VIT-AP fees for the two-year MSc course range from INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 1.6 lakh. The course fee can be paid in two installments. Further, candidates must also pay an amount of INR 3,000 as a caution deposit fee, which is refundable. Candidates willing to apply for the hostel seat at the university must pay an amount of INR 2.47 lakh. As per the official website of VIT-AP University, the admission dates for the integrated M.Tech dates are out now for the 2026 admission. The integrated M.Tech admission dates were out in February, and the last date to apply is May. Further, the Result & Choice preference will be held from June.

VIT-AP University accepts the VITMEE, which is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology annually for admission to M.Tech in various disciplines. The applicants are selected based on exam performance, followed by online VITMEE 2025 counselling. The application process for VITMEE 2025 registration comprises registration, filling out forms, uploading documents, and fee payment. The VITMEE 2025 exam is conducted in an online computer-based mode for two hours.

Yes, VIT-AP University does offer an M.Tech course in a full-time mode with four semesters that can be completed within two years. Further, the university also offers two integrated courses that are inclusive of ten semesters, lasting for five years. Admission to the M.Tech course is subject to the VITMEE exam. Whereas, integrated M.Tech admission is based on the last qualifying exam.
