Hello Prajakta,
The admission is based on the entrance exam for post-graduation called VITMEE. So, you need to clear that exam with a good score.
You are eligible to appear for the exam as you have more than 50% in your bachelor's degree.

You may refer to the link below to know the eligibility criteria for admission into VIT University:
http://www.vit.ac.in/admissions/viteee
However, you need to clear an entrance exam for getting admission into undergraduate or post graduate programs.

Hello Shwetank,
No, it is not possible to even get a seat at VIT, Vellore or any of the campuses (except Bhopal) with this rank. You may be called for counselling but you can just book a seat under category 5 only.
So, it is impossible to get a seat.

Hi kshitij,
Through there is not much sought after grace that vit will provide to the sports quota students.
But you may contact to the management during the admisssion, and show them your certificates in any particular sports to avail some sort of benefits.
