VIT Vellore uses VITEEE entrance examination results for making seat allocations to students. VIT Vellore conducts its own admission exam VITEEE to determine seat distribution through student performance in this test. Candidates who score 118 points and above in the VITEEE 2024 will receive an opening rank of 1 along with a range of 250 possible closing ranks. At the same time, candidates who scored between 113-117 points during the VITEEE 2024 can expect an opening rank of 251 combined with a maximum closing rank of 500. The university relies on equating methodology to determine candidate rankings through their exam scores.

To get into SRM, VIT, or KIIT for B.Tech, you need to appear for their respective entrance exams. For SRM, you must take the SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination). For VIT, the exam is VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam). Similarly, for KIIT, you need to give the KIITEE (KIIT Entrance Examination). Each university has its own exam, so you should register and prepare accordingly for the respective test to secure admission.
