The VITREE 2026 exam timings are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Candidates must reach the exam centre before that. The gates will be closed by 9:15 am, after that candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid ID proof along with a pen or pencil to the test centre.

Candidates must reach the exam hall/centre by 9:00 am. The deadline to reach the exam hall is 9:15 am. Candidates will not be permitted after that. The VITREE 2026 exam for the January session starts from 10:00 am and will conclude at 12:00 pm.

Candidates can check the VITREE 2026 exam dates on the official website. The dates have been announced for the VITREE 2026 Jan session. Registrations will close on November 20, and the exam will be conducted on December 7. The personal interview will take place either on December 13 or 14. The dates will be informed to the candidate.

VIT Vellore has closed the application process for the VITREE exam. Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) is conducted for admission to various Ph.D. /Direct Ph.D. and Ph.D.(Deep Technology) programmes in VIT group of Institutions. VITREE- January 2026 session intake was conducted on 7 December, 2025 in 25 cities across India.
