Candidate who are looking for BTech lateral entry admission at V.S.B. Engineering College, need to the meet the last educational qualification set by the institute. Aspirants should pass three-year diploma courses conducted by Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education or equivalent recognised by the board in pre-final/ final semester of study. VSB Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| MCA | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have obtained a technical Diploma in relevant branch securing minimum 55% marks for general category, 50% for backward class, 45% for MBC/DNC and pass marks for SC/SCA/ST. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
