For Class 12th, it is considered to be strict. However, it is said that the checking done by evaluators is lenient in comparison to the checking done by them in Class 9, 11 in their schools.

So, if you have covered the entire WBCHSE syllabus and your preparation is on point, then you must not worry about the strict checking. You will definitely score well in the exams.

WBCHSE result 2025 will be released on May 7, 2025 on the official website- wbresults.nic.in. Students can check their WB HS result 2025 using their roll number and date of birth. The HS Result 2025 West Bengal is announced for all three streams - Science, Commerce and Arts.

The WB HS result mentions the student's particulars along with the marks scored by them in different subjects. The WB HS exams 2025 will be held between March 3 and 18, 2025. Students must note that the WB HS Result 2025 released online is provisional. The original mark sheets and Certificates were made available by Council by the end of May.

To be eligible for admission to St. Xavier’s College Kolkata for English Honours, a candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in at least four subjects including English and Pure Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics and must have passed in all subjects as per the respective board/council pass marks.

The candidate must have studied and passed in English language in the +2 level English language. If the candidate does not have English as a subject in +2 level, he/she shall not be eligible to apply.

Yes, you can reappear in your 12th standard Board examinations if you are not satisfied with marks you have scored in examinations. But, you can reappear in examinations only if your board conducts improvement examinations. You can apply for reappear in some subject to make your 12th score better by following procedure :

Take application form from the examination cell of your school.
Fill the application form and attach the required documents.
Submit the application form to the examination cell of your school.
