To pass the West Bengal Higher Secondary exam (WBCHSE), students must achieve a minimum threshold of marks in each subject. The criteria for passing is set at 30% of the total marks for each subject. This means students need to score at least 30 marks out of 100 in each compulsory subject to pass the examinations. 
Students are advised to study hard, finish their WB HS syllabus, and keep their preparation on point so that they clear the examinations with flying colours. 
Also, you must collect the WBCHSE marksheet from school and keep it secured as this will be required to show while applying for admissions to institution

WBCHSE result 2026 is expected to be released on May 7, 2026 on the official website- wbresults.nic.in. Students can check their WB HS result 2026 using their roll number and date of birth. The HS Result 2026 West Bengal is announced for all three streams - Science, Commerce and Arts.

The WB HS result mentions the student's particulars along with the marks scored by them in different subjects. The WB HS exams 2026 will be held between February 12 and 27, 2026. Students must note that the WB HS Result released online is provisional. The original mark sheets and Certificates were made available by Council by the end of May.

Students are suggested to solve and practice the WBCHSE sample papers and question papers of previous years to prepare for their upcoming WB HS board exams 2026 and to get familiar with the marking scheme,   the types of questions asked in the exam and more. In case they do not know the answers to some questions, they must refer to their books or connect with friends and teachers.
