The West Bengal Public Service Commission is expected to release the WBCS 2024 application forms soon on its official website - psc.wbpsc.gov.in. The WBPSC WBCS 2024 notification is expected to be released soon. The applications will be activated as per the dates mentioned in the official notification. As per the official calendar, the WBCS 2024 prelims exam will be conducted on December 15, 2024 across the state. The candidates should note that the WBCS 2024 exam will be conducted based on the old syllabus and exam pattern. The Commission will separately release the WBCS 2024 syllabus and exam pattern before the official notification.

The candidate must have a degree from a recognized University in India. The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak in the Bengali language. Candidates whose mother tongue in Nepali are exempted from this requirement. The West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the WBCS prelims 2024 exam on December 15, 2024. The Commission released the WBPSC 2024 exam calendar on its official website. The candidates should note that the WBCS 2024 online application form will also be released together with the official notification. The Commission does not mention the WBCS 2024 vacancies in the official notification. The candidates should also note that the WBCS 2024 exam will be conducted based on the old syllabus and exam pattern. The Commission will separately release the WBCS 2024 syllabus and exam pattern before the official notification of the exam.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission released the WBCS 2022 final answer key online on August 4, 2022. WBPSC released the WBCS 2022 prelims final answer key online only for the candidates so that they could check their answers and calculate their marks in the WBCS 2022 prelims exam which was conducted on June 19, 2022. WBPSC released the tentative WBCS answer key on June 21, 2022, and asked the candidates to send objections online against the answer key by July 4, 2022.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission releases the WBCS tentative answer key within a week from the exam. The Commission inviites representations against the incorrect answers mentioned in the WBCS answer key. The candidates are required to send the objections within the specified time limit with standard references. The Commission analyse such objections and made the changes wherever required. After such changes the Commission releases the final answer key.
The candidates cannot challenge the final answer key at the Commission level.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission release the WBCS answer key in PDF. The candidates will be required to download the WBCS answer key from the official website - psc.wb.gov.in. The candidates will be required log in with their credentials and download the WBCS answer key. The Commission will release the answers to all the questions asked in the WBCS prelims exam. The Commission will also mention the questions which were removed from the exam. The Commission is expected to release the WBCS answer key within a week from the exam.
The WBCS is yet to release the exam calendar and notification dates.

The WBCS answer key provides the correct answers to the questions asked in the WBCS Prelims exam. It is released by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) after the successful completion of the WBCS Prelims exam. The WBCS Prelims exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each.
There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission provides the time frame for sending objections against the answers mentioned in the WBCS answer key. The Commission will give 5-7 days after the release of the WBCS answer key to raise objections against any incorrect answers.
The exact dates will be mentioned in the official notice. Candidates need to submit their objections within this specified period.
