General Eligibility Criteria of WBJEE 2019
Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India
Age Criteria: The minimum age required by the candidate to be eligible for WBJEE 2019 is 17 years as on December 31, 2019. The candidate should have been born on or before December 31, 2002. There is no upper limit for B.Tech programmes except for Marine Engineering where the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2019. Academic Qualification: The candidates should have qualified his/ her 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotec

I'm sorry to say but its placement is in a very poor condition. People in the electrical department didn't get placed well this year. Only a few got placed.

The candidates appearing for WBJEE must obtain a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 board examination. However, the SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A and OBC-B candidates must secure at least 55% marks in WBJEE. The candidates must have passed in English with 30% marks as well.
