No, the WBJEE JECA counselling dates are finalised by the exam authorities, and you are not permitted to ask for any changes. Applicants are recommended to go through and abide by the WBJEE JECA counselling dates, as delayed applications will not be made available. The authorities will carry out two sessions of WBJEE JECA counselling.

Yes, WBJEE JECA counselling will be an online process. For joining the allotment process, the candidates will have to register online for the WBJEE JECA counselling process. After registration, candidates will need to fill in their college and course preferences online, in order of preference. The authorities will also declare the WBJEE seat allotment result online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca.

For WBJEE JECA counseling registration, the applicants will be required to -

  • Go to the official website and login via your roll number and password

  • Fill your personal, academic and contact details. 

All of the details must be carefully checked since the applicants will not be provided with the facility to edit their provided details.

During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.

In the second round of WBJEE counselling, if the students have not been allotted their higher preference, then they can go back to their previously allotted seat. However, if they have been given their higher preference, then their previous seat will be automatically cancelled.

The WBJEE seat acceptance fee is INR 5000 (refundable). To download the seat allotment letter, the students will have to pay the fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the fee is not paid, then they students will not be able to move forward with the admission confirmation process.

WBJEE 2026 seat allotment dates have not been announced yet. Students will have to log in to check their allotment status and to download the allocation letter for the admission process. Separate allotment results will be announced for the different rounds of counselling.

After the seats are allotted, students will have to pay seat acceptance fee of INR 5000 online to download allotment letter. Next, they will have to report to their respective college for document verification and tuition fee payment.
