There will be three rounds of counselling to be conducted by the WBMCC for WB NEET counselling. Fresh registration will be invited and accepted in each round of counselling. Candidates can opt out of counselling at any step adhering to the WB NEET UG seat surrender policy. Before each round of WB counselling, a seat matrix will be released for the candidates that will enable them exercise choice filling and locking option.

The WB NEET counselling dates have been released. The authorities started the WB NEET counselling registration on July 31, 2025. West Bengal Main Computerised Counselling (WBMCC) released the official notification stating the important dates and guidelines regarding the WB NEET counselling process. The last date to register for round 1 WB NEET counselling is August 8, 2025.

In order to seek admission through WB NEET UG counselling, candidates need to participate in the Registration process, followed by fee payment. Verification of documents is essential to participate in the counselling. The next step is choice filling and locking, which will be followed by seat allotment process. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the counselling of West Bengal NEET 2025 should report to the respective institute for confirmation of admission.

The WBMCC cutoff is the rank at which admissions will be provided to various MBBS and BDS colleges in the state. The qualifying cutoff is expected to be 715-117 for the general category and 116-95 for the reserved category aspirants. The cutoff for NEET UG 2025 for government colleges in SC category in West Bengal for SC/ST/OBC category is 136-107 marks.

The registration fee for West Bengal NEET 2025 counselling is expected to be INR 2,000 + transaction charges and INR 1,500 + transaction charges for reserved category candidates. Candidates who fail to make the fee payment will not be allowed to participate in the WB NEET UG counselling process. The official website to make fee payment is wbmcc.nic.in.

No, the application form are available online only. Applications sent by post or any other mode will not be accepted. To participate in the counselling of WBMCC NEET, a candidate must possess a domicile certificate of this state. For a domicile certificate to be valid it needs to be signed by any of the higher authorities mentioned in the guidelines issued by the WBMCC.

NEET Scorecard can be used for the current academic session in India, but candidates who want to study abroad can use the same NEET scorecard for three years. West Bengal NEET counselling 2025 will be conducted in two rounds, both of which will be conducted online. The third round will be led only if seats are left vacant after the second round.
