No, Emversity Kolkata is a private institute though it has been recognised by the UGC and has certifications from Healthcare Sector Skill Council, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Skill India which are government bodies that oversee Educational and Skilling institutions of India.

To study Certificate courses specialised in Emergency Medical Technician or Phlebotomy Technology from Emversity Kolkata students must meet the eligibility of having passed Class 12 with PCB subjects. Though students will also be selected on the basis of these marks so students should perform well in these exams and not just pass.
