Candidates who did not appear for the CAT entrance exam can apply St. Xavier's College, Kolkata admissions as it is not a mandatory entrance exam. The candidates who wish to gain admissions into the MBA course of the institute have to appear for the Kolkata University entrance test for St. Xavier's College, Kolkata MBA course admissions.

The allotment of the WB ANM/GNM exam centre is based on the choices of zones given on the application form. In case a candidate is not allocated a zone of their choice, request to change it will not be entertained.

WBJEEB, the official exam conducting body, released a list of official test center zones where the West Bengal ANM GNM 2025 exam was conducted on October 19, 2025. At the time of filling out the West Bengal ANM GNM application form, candidates had to choose the preferred test center zone out of all the choices available in the vicinity of their home.

No, candidates cannot get direct admission at Brainware University, Kolkata. The university has an in-house entrance exam called the Brainware Eligibility Test (BET). The university offers various courses at the UG, PG, PhD and Diploma courses. The courses are offered in various specialisations such as Engineering, Management, Computer Application, etc.
