And as this year IIEST, Shibpur is no longer taking admissions through WBJEE, hence you need to be in top 1500. Beyond 2000 may not guarantee you a seat, I guess.

Both are good B-Schools for MBA and both the B-Schools have good placement record. According to me, GIF is a better option. Please do your own research and choose the college according to your interest. It's just a suggestion.
