WCC College follows a simple admission process. Candidates are required to apply online on the official website of the college for the course of their choice. Once they have registered, their applications are evaluated. WCC shortlists candidates based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants only need to ensure they score equal or above the eligibility percentage to get admission. The minimum aggregate is not defined in many of the courses. Hence, aspirants can easily get admission based on their qualification.

Candidates are offered a seat in any of the UG or PG programme of WCC based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Departments shortlist eligible candidates according to merit in various categories and send it to the Scrutiny Committee. The college releases a selection list for each course to announce the names of shortlisted aspirants. Once the selection process is done, selected candidates are called for document verification. Aspirants further need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

To be eligible for a B.Com degree, students must have passed the 12th Standard/HSC/10+2 from a recognised Board. Many universities prefer candidates with 50% marks for the admission process.B.Com course is divided into BCom-General, BCom Honours, and B.Com LLB. For B.Com Hons, students must have passed class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% or above from a recognised school board. Candidates should have studied Commerce along with Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Math, and English as core subjects in class 12th. The cutoff mark for a B.Com also vary by category OBC-80–85%, SC-70%, ST- 60%.
