Xavier School of Human Settlements offers postgraduate and PhD programmes to students. These courses are provided across the Management, Research, and various other streams. At the PG level, the college offers an MBA-UMG course whose academic year comprises three terms of 12-14 weeks each. At the doctoral level, there are full-time and part-time Research programmes available. The two-year full-time Master's Programme in Urban Management and Governance has a core and elective coursework and other learning segments of 113 credits. The college expects the students to spend about 70 hours a week on their academic work.

No, applicants cannot be admitted directly to Xavier School of Human Settlements PGDM/MBA programme. The institute accepts CAT, XAT, MAT scores in addition to the CAT score for admission.
