York University Eligibility

All international applicants must fulfill the York University MBA admission requirements listed below to secure admission:

• An undergraduate degree from a recognised post-secondary institution with a minimum B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work;
• Minimum two years of relevant post-degree, full-time work experience or life experience;
• GMAT/GRE score;
• Essays (2 written, 1 timed written,  2 video);
• An up-to-date resume/CV;
• 2 references
• Unofficial copies of transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions;
• Overall Essays8 score of 7.0 / Overall TOEFL score of 100.

Note: Applicants with 3-year degrees may be considered for admission with one year of work experience beyond the required minimum.

International students who meet the admission requirements for the programme are eligible for York University admission. Mentioned below are the York University admission requirements for International students:

York UG admission requirements

• Must complete a high school degree with a minimum score as per the program
• Submit the score for English language tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.
• Must submit the additional test score of ACT or SAT

York PG admission requirements

• Complete a bachelor’s degree with a required GPA
• Meet the English language proficiency requirements
• Must submit the additional test score of GMAT or GRE
• Submit the proof of work experience as per the program

. York University admission requirements for Masters in Business Analytics course are given below:

Academic Requirements

• A 4-year undergraduate degree from a recognised post-secondary institution with a minimum B+ average in the last two full years or equivalent or academic work in one of the following subjects: Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or Science
• Undergraduate degree holders in other subject areas (Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts, Education, etc.) shall be considered for admission if they have completed a significant number of university courses in the relevant topics like Mathematics / Statistics, Business, Computer Science. Successful applicants must have completed at least one university course on a listed topic, in two of the categories listed here – York University Master of Business Analytics
• Three-year degree holders who have strong results in the relevant technical courses and have a year or more of professional work experience in Data Intensive Computing shall be considered for admission
• English language proficiency tests: IELTS (Academic) with 7.0 overall, with a minimum of 6.5 on each dimension / TOEFL with a score of 100 in iBT, with 23 in each dimension

Other Admission Requirements

• Post-degree work experience is recommended, however, it is not required
• Completion of online application that requires essays, an up-to-date resume, two references, all the transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutes, proof of English language proficiency
