For admission in B.Sc Zoology, the students should have passed 12th standard in the Science stream with Biology, Chemistry, and generally Physics. A minimum of 50–60% marks will be sufficient, as it varies from institution to institution. The key subject for eligibility is Biology, and English can also be mandatory in some of the colleges.

There are many options and fields one can explore by studying Zoology. One can choose to go for higher education such as M.Sc. in Zoology and PhD in Zoology or work after post-graduation. Students pursuing BSc in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Zoology at Indore may find suitable education at Holkar Science College or Government Arts and Science College because both institutions charge tuition fees between INR 25,000 and INR 30,000 yearly and between INR 15,000 and INR 20,000 respectively. Ujjain college students should explore both Vikram University charging between INR 20,000 to INR 25,000 annually and Madhav Arts and Commerce College requiring a yearly payment of INR 15,000 to INR 20,000.
