It is a UGC recognised Karnataka state private university with the approval of the Atria University Act 2020 was passed by the Karnataka State Assembly on April 16, 2021. Whereas Atria Institute of Technology is a more than 20 year old VTU-affiliated Educational Institute offering UG and PG courses in Engineering.
