My experience at Barkatullah University.

Placements: In our final year, our college starts campus placements. This year, top companies visited our college like HCL, TCS, and Amazon. Each company offered a starting package of 5 LPA, which can rise up to 8 LPA to 10 LPA based on the skills we have. Mostly, 85% of students get placed in many companies. If any student had plans for higher education like studying abroad, our college supports those students financially. Our college provides student loans for students planning to study abroad after B.Tech. In our last year, many global companies also visited our college and provided some training classes.

Infrastructure: At the beginning of our college, we had a grand welcome fresher's party. We also have different types of activities like group discussions and debates. Our college infrastructure was really good. We have a very big playground and every week we had one hour for sports. We offer different types of sports. Our library was really awesome.

Absolutely perfect University in Central India.

Placements: The students are eligible for placement from the 3rd year/5th semester. The companies that visited our college are Deloitte, Piramal, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Prudential, Planet Spark, Sutherland, Wipro, and TCS. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70%. After getting a bachelor's degree, I'll go for a master's.

Infrastructure: The college organized many fests, including the annual fest and the golden jubilee fest that is held in October and November. A vast range of books and journals are available in the library. The college has a sports department as well as NCC and NSS. Any student involved in any club or social group has a very good impact on their academic and personal improvement. There are more than 10 clubs and communities in the college for students.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 4:5, which greatly impacts our learning experience. The faculty's approach to teaching and mentorship is very good. The teachers are very friendly, and I interact with them mostly. The course is very well-structured, and the syllabus has been redesigned by the faculty of this college. The curriculum includes modern terms and technologies that prepare us for real-world applications. They should reduce the subjects, as there are 10 subjects, which makes it very difficult for any student to prepare at the time of examinations.

Placements are also available for postgraduate students. The average placement percentage is 180,000. Top companies like HDFC, TCS, Techno Task, and other regional industries participate in the process.

Infrastructure: The college organizes many programs, such as orientation programs, college fests, and various competitions during festive months. The availability and accessibility of books in the library are very good; we can find most of the books there. The new classrooms are technology-based, equipped with smart boards and projectors. The college provides good sporting facilities and competitions alongside extracurricular activities.

Faculty: The faculty is very good, providing a quality and effective learning experience. One can easily approach the teachers for any type of help; they are very helpful. Interaction with the teachers is easy, and they provide education that is easy to understand.

Barkatulla Vishwavidyalay Bhopal: My Experience

Placements: Campus placements happen every year, and it totally depends on the students who want to participate. Different types of companies provide job opportunities. Recently, there was a job fair in college with companies like LIC, NITDP, Vocational Valley, and Ujjivan present. Almost 70% of students get placed. Personally, I prefer to do business, and I am currently running a book business.

Infrastructure: Every year, we have an annual function with various dance and song performances, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for academics. The college also organizes functions like Garba during Navratri, a special food fest, Mehendi workshops, free health check-ups, blood donation camps, and nukkad natak for social awareness, along with activities by the NCC department. The range and availability of books in the library need improvement. We are also provided with technical knowledge, such as computer skills, making presentations, and public speaking, which boosts our confidence. My college offers extracurricular activities like sports, NCC, and various inter-college competitions. Various clubs and societies, such as debate, anti-ragging, drama, and dance, add fun to student life and help us create memories.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is sufficient because it’s a girls’ college, and most students do not take the law course due to its time-consuming nature. The approximate ratio is around 1:30. We can freely approach our respective teachers whenever needed, as they are very supportive. The new principal is also great and always prioritizes the interests of the students.

Other: The fee structure of my college is very affordable, especially in the current scenario. Students can also receive fee concessions if they score 85% and above in 12th grade. According to various schemes, fee concessions are also available. Although friends from other colleges have higher fee structures compared to mine, the environment at my college is excellent, and the teachers are really understanding. My college always supports me in achieving good scores with quality education and the best infrastructure. It is truly challenging to find a college like this in the current times.

Placements: Overall, the average is around 70 to 95 percent, and I gained 90 percent in 1st year. The minimum salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Reliance Industries, and Tata Steel visit the college for placements. Roles like sales, customer care, human resource management, finance, and IT support service are offered here.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated, and many of them are smart classes with projectors. The library contains a capacity of 150 students with a collection of books of around 1,50,000, including international journals, e-books, and research materials. Computer labs are well-designed. It has sports like cricket, football, chess, kabaddi, and kho-kho.

Faculty: The education system is very good, and we can say it is value for money. The outstanding project management is done. Exams are of a moderate level. Practical practice is also done here. Teaching is auspicious and supports everything at every time. We get real-world experience, teamwork, and career clarity.

Other: A lot of events are organised here. We enjoy it very well.
