No, BBA is not compulsory to get admission into the MBA course at CU Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the information available on the official sources states that applicants from any stream or any subject in graduation can apply to the MBA course at CU Tamil Nadu. However, candidates with a minimum of two years of industry and allied experience are preferred.The only requirement they must complete before applying is securing a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% in their graduation.

The names of some of the offered MBA specialsiations are MBA (Textile Management), MBA (Apparel Management), MBA (Retail Management), MBA (Technical Textiles Management), MBA (Textile Business Analytics), Tourism and Hospitality Management, etc. Moreover, candidates can get admission to this course after completing their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55%. Additionally, for the selection process, the common entrance exam that is applicable to all specialisations is CUET PG.

Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts relevant scores of CUET PG, followed by a counselling process. Admisison for MBA specialisation offered by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel College, partnered with CUTN, is based on CUET PG/ SVPET or any other management entrance test.
