CUET Anthropology Syllabus 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the CUET Anthropology syllabus 2026. Once released, the candidates can access the same online on the official website of NTA at at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/syllabus/. We also provide the CUET syllabus 2026 for Anthropology in PDF and in table format on this page. The chances of any major changes in the CUET Anthropology syllabus 2026 is very less. The students must remember that the topics included in the CUET Anthropology Syllabus are taught in class 12. To gather more insights for the CUET 2026, candidates must refer to the previous years’ question papers to know the chapter-wise weightage, topics, and question types.
NTA conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to offer admission to various UG-level courses in all central universities and other participating institutes in India. Students seeking admission through the CUET UG 2026 exam must be well-prepared for the exam. For better preparation for the Anthropology exam, the students must go through the entire CUET Anthropology Syllabus and cover the entire topics included in it. CUET UG 2026 exams are likely to be held in May and June 2026, in CBT mode. NTA will soon announce a detailed CUET date sheet for the 2026 exams. There will be no fixed dates for all subjects; each subject exam will be held in multiple slots and dates.

Yes. There is a negative marking in the CUET exam. For each wrong answer, one mark is deducted. Negative marking will not be applicable in case of unattempted questions. The marking scheme as per NTA is given below.
i. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
ii. Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
iii. Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
iv. If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
v. If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
vi. If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks (+5) marks.
UGC has announced the deletion of 26 subjects from CUET UG 2025 onwards. CUET UG 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects have been removed. Check the list below to know the name of the subjects:
- Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese)
- Domain Subjetcs (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics)

CUET 2026 Exam Pattern
For better preparation of CUET 2026, the students must be aware of the CUET exam pattern. It will help students know the type of questions asked, level of questions, total number of questions, the marking scheme, and more. In the first section, the Language Skills of candidates will be tested through Reading Comprehension passage questions. In the second section, the questions will be asked based on the subject opted for and the third section is GK, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
