The University provides scholarships to students based on their prior academic records during admission and also based on their semester-wise performance during the course of their studies. For the BTech programme at CUTM Paralakhemundi, candidates who have studied under different boards of education are offered a predefined percentage of scholarship in their tuition fee. Starting from the second year, students are required to obtain a minimum of 8.0 CGPA in their semester exams along with a minimum of 80% attendance to continue receiving their scholarship. Additionally, there are a number of scholarships available to students belonging to the reserved category and minority groups, as listed below:

- Bihar Welfare (Technical Stipend)
- E_KALYAN Scholarship offered by Jharkhand State Welfare Department
- Departmental/Official scholarship from East Coast Railway/ CRPF/ Central Schools/ SBI/ Coal India/ Daitari Mines/OMC for their wards who are studying Engineering/MBA

For PhD, shortlisted candidates are awarded a fellowship of INR 20,000 for three years. NET/ICAR/GATE qualified candidates will receive a stipend according to UGC rules. In addition to their own research work, PhD candidates are expected to engage in teaching, training, and research projects of the University.

Furthermore, a special scholarship of 5% is offered to all CUEE applicants.
