The University provides scholarships to students based on their prior academic records during admission and also based on their semester-wise performance during the course of their studies. For the BTech programme at CUTM Paralakhemundi, candidates who have studied under different boards of education are offered a predefined percentage of scholarship in their tuition fee. Starting from the second year, students are required to obtain a minimum of 8.0 CGPA in their semester exams along with a minimum of 80% attendance to continue receiving their scholarship. For PhD, shortlisted candidates are awarded a fellowship of INR 20,000 for three years. NET/ICAR/GATE qualified candidates will receive a stipend according to UGC rules. Furthermore, a special scholarship of 5% is offered to all CUEE applicants.

The summary is that our college gives the best education and skills.
Placements: I am currently in my 3rd year. My super seniors got normal jobs in companies. But still, our college management is trying to give the best jobs to the students. 40 percent of students were placed in my college. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The best thing about my college is the hostel. They provide two different types of food, like northern and southern style food. I have tried both types of food, but North-style food is better than South-style. I can give 4 stars out of 5 stars to my college hostel facilities.
Faculty: The main thing is that some faculty members of our college behave badly because they don't respect students. But some faculty members encourage, motivate, and are friendly with us. Faculty members give very good marks in the examination and take the viva very strictly to give more confidence to the students.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering because in this technological generation, it is very useful for students. The best thing is that any student can easily crack a job in the course. I would like to improve my communication skills.

Colorful campus and opportunity to grow
Placements: I joined in September. In our class there are 60 students and many other sections. I have heard from seniors that the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. Mostly small and midfirm companies are coming and intership is not so mandatory. It mostly will depend on our skills and our willingness to learn.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available and a full network. Computer labs are there for learning communication and presentation. Classrooms have AC and best seats to attend classes. I am not a hosteler but I have eaten once. I did not like it so much. Good enough to live. Sports facilities are the best. You can play basketball cricket tennis and coaches are there. A small hospital is there for small health issues.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The more experienced teachers are the best as they are very knowledgeable and explain very nicely. The course curriculum is not up to date. Whatever has been taught in the previous years is what we are also learning. Semester exams are conducted strictly and pass percentage has been 90 percent.
Other: Events happen regularly. Every department hosts its own events and they are conducted with efficiency. Cultural events and a chance to express your art are provided. The best event is Gajajyoti event that happens every year for 3 to 4 days. The campus is colorful and skill courses are also available in various domains.

Good placements and fantastic infrastructure, but the hostel mess food is just average.
Placements: For our BBA batch, the placement rate is quite high, officially around 90%. The salary packages have a wide range. The highest package goes up to 13.60 LPA. The median package is 4.00 LPA. On average, most students receive offers between 2.5 LPA and 3.5 LPA, with the lowest packages being around 1.5 LPA. Our top recruiting companies include major banks like ICICI, HDFC, and Axis Bank. As well as IT companies like Accenture, Wipro, and Cognizant. Almost everyone, 60-100 percent, manages to get an internship as it is a key part of our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our BBA course is excellent. All are smart classrooms with projectors, smart boards, and reliable Wi-Fi. The entire campus, including the hostels and library, is Wi-Fi enabled. The central library is very large. It has a great collection of books and digital resources. The hostels are also well-maintained, with separate ones for boys and girls. Students can choose between AC and non-AC rooms.
Faculty: Faculty for the BBA course is one of its strong points. Most teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and have good industry knowledge. Many of them are Ph.D. holders and are very supportive. They always available to clear our doubts even after class hours. The teaching quality is generally very good.
Other: I chose this course because I hear CUTM has a strong BBA program that is focused on practical skills, not just theory. The best things are definitely the skill-integrated courses they add, like Data Analytics using Excel, which feel very relevant for jobs. Faculty is supportive, and sports infrastructure is amazing. We have a proper swimming pool, multiple gyms, and big grounds.

Placements: My name is Mohan Jena. I am studying at Centurion University, B.Tech CSE. In one section, there are 60 students. My passing year is 2027. Mostly, normal companies come to the campus interviews. Big FAANG companies never visit us. Only students who study regularly do well in campus placement.
Infrastructure: There is full coverage of college Wi-Fi. The food is a mess, I mean, it is not good. The pappu and price are good. The breakfast feels stale. Sports facilities are great. There are nets available for playing cricket, basketball, and tennis. So, great facilities and tournaments for playing games and sports. The labs are well-equipped, and there are about 10 labs. The library is open and has most of the best books. Classrooms are spacious and clean. Projectors are also used for digital learning.
Faculty: The top teachers, like the head of departments, are skilled and have lots of knowledge. There are many teachers with PhDs, and most of them try to upskill themselves. The course curriculum is not up to date. The college is trying its best to provide GeeksforGeeks courses, and hackathons are also being done regularly.
Other: I chose this college because it is the best college that is near my house. Events happen regularly. Department-wise fests happen. Cultural shows and dance programs happen. Festivals also happen with grandness. There is also a temple where there is a divine feeling whenever u go.

My experience at CUTM - Paralakhemundi.
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark, don't expect very much from the college, it is better if you prepare for off-campus too, and the same goes for internship opportunities also. The average salary is Rs. 4,00,000. Nearly 60% of students get placed. The rest of them do higher studies.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good, especially the library, which is very large and consists of 1000s of books, and it is environmentally friendly. The hostel is pretty decent, and can adjust. Food quality is also okay. Sports infrastructure is very good, but they will get very little time to play.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very much industry-relevant. Teachers are also highly qualified. Semester-end exams are not that tough. You can pass easily if you study at a normal pace from the start of the semester, or else you have to struggle during the exams. Every semester, there will be one end-of-semester exam and one mid-term exam.
