It was good only for basic Bachelor's courses, not for postgraduate studies.
Placements: Approximately 40% of students got placed, but no proper packages were offered. ICICI Bank hired a few, and some got internships as CA interns or at call centers.
Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, so I didn’t really know much, but from what I heard from my friends. It wasn’t really great. It was just alright. It was a place to stay with food provided three times a day. Wi-Fi and a library were available, with 1 GB of data per day for every student. The library was good, but students didn’t make the best use of it. For the most part, it was okay. There were annual functions as well as an annual sports week. There was no canteen, the toilets were in poor condition, there was no water cooler, and obviously, no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but only a few were knowledgeable. It was alright and easy to pass if you studied enough, with a pass percentage of 80%. They mainly provided theoretical, bookish knowledge. Teachers mostly taught from PDFs, focusing on the important topics that would appear in exams.
Other: I did B.Com., and after consultation with teachers, I chose this course. I did learn about business, marketing, and finance in depth. The curriculum was better, but it mostly focused on teaching and exams. There were festivals or events twice or thrice a year, and yes, scholarships were available. No extracurricular activities were available to help learn or develop skills. Mainly, bookish knowledge was fed to our brains, which is of no use now. What I’m trying to say is that the skills I need right now, like SQL, Python, MS Office, etc., were not taught.
