The Cluster University of Jammu serving as a state institution since 2017 provides reasonable education fees for its B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics programme that competes positively against private educational institutions. During 2023 the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics programme of Cluster University allows students to select between INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 annual fees based on their affiliated college choice. Annual fees for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics programme at Cluster University of Jammu range from INR 12,000 to INR 20,000 after adding examination fees, library fees, lab fees, which reach INR 2,000–5,000 per year. The complete three-year expenses amount to INR 36,000–60,000 while hostel accommodation fees are extraneous if necessary. Students at Indian private universities have to pay between INR 50,000 and INR 2,00,000 per year for the same educational courses. Cluster University maintains affordability since it matches the tuition fees of its parent institution which is the University of Jammu. Science students can obtain financial relief through scholarships and state-sponsored programs such as Medhavi Chhattar Yojana. Within the cluster's colleges the programme exhibits slight cost differences yet remains affordable considering the Indian higher education cost framework.
