Review of CUSB - Central University of South Bihar.
Placements: The general focus of the college is not on getting the students a place but to create good academicians and maybe to help in higher studies because of which our placement is around 20% of the students get placed mostly in teaching and content writing kind of thing in education institutes and a few private companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad; it is very friendly and provides a good and spacious environment in both the hostel and course area. We do have a library and a small lab. We have internet access, but it is limited to the course area, and the food in the mess is average but provides both veg and non-veg meals.
Faculty: The faculty members are good in our department; they help us understand the concept and guide us for our future endeavors. They are highly qualified and approachable. The course curriculum is also nice, and it helps in achieving and building a strong foundation for further studies. The exams are at a mediocre level.

    Good experience and learning.
Placements: Around 30% to 40% of the students can get placement on campus. There is not much help for internships. Generally, recruitment is for roles like editor, translator, etc. Companies like government agencies, a few educational institutes, and NGOs come.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and student-friendly; we can find materials like offline and online resources essential for project work and research papers. There are also labs and good internet connectivity. The classrooms are nicely designed with good space. The hostel has room for laundry; you need to pay a bit extra, but the mess fee is included.
Faculty: The faculty members and the curriculum are good; they are professionals and have good years of teaching experience, and at the same time, few have good industry experience. They are scholars as well. The exams are a bit difficult, but the passing rate is above 80%, and being attentive is required.

The faculty members and affordability are good options.
Placements: There is only a very small scope for placement. Generally, for an internship, a college does not take the responsibility; it depends on you. There is no dedicated cell-like placement, etc., which is generally there. Only around 25% or fewer students can get placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel living space is good for the amount that they charge, and they provide the best amenities with that. There is a mess where both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options are available, along with the fact that in the department area we have our classroom, library, lab, etc.
Faculty: The exams are medical level, with a good passing rate of, like, around ninety percent of the students. The faculty members try to teach nicely; they discuss topics and make it an open forum for students to share their ideas as well, so that the classroom is interactive. The course curriculum is good and also provides elective options.

Review of CUSB - Central University of South Bihar.
Placements: The placement rate for this course is very minimal; only single-digit numbers of students are able to get placed. Generally, the recruiters are a few government agencies and NGOs with which the college has a tie-up. The highest package that was offered was around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the course area has a dedicated classroom and a library where materials are available. There is an internet connection, but it is limited to the labs area. In the hostel area, we have food available, and for accommodation, you will be given a room, but for other things, you will have to manage.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good; they share their experience and industry knowledge, help us visualize real-world scenarios, and try to create problem-solving and critical thinking abilities within us. The exam levels are moderate, and the course is very relevant to the industry.

Central University of South Bihar, a true student perspective.
Placements: Most students here do not rely on placements. Instead, they prepare for competitive exams like UPSC NET/JRF, BPSC, and other government services, or pursue higher education in reputed institutions. For professional exposure, students usually have to search for internships and job opportunities on their own. If someone is looking for strong campus placements, CUSB may not meet expectations. The university is better suited for students aiming at research, academics, or civil services rather than corporate jobs.
Infrastructure: CUSB hostels are basic and affordable, offering shared rooms with essential facilities. Mess food is average, and hygiene can be improved. Wi-Fi and study environment are decent, but maintenance is slow. Overall, suitable for academic life, though not very comfortable for long stays.
Faculty: CUSB faculty are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in humanities and social sciences. Most teachers are approachable and encourage discussions beyond textbooks. The curriculum is updated, but still leans more towards theory than practical exposure. Interdisciplinary courses are a strength, offering wider perspectives. Exams are moderately challenging, focusing on conceptual clarity and writing ability rather than written learning. Internal assessment and presentations help in continuous evaluation, though the system could include more practical projects and fieldwork. Overall, the academic experience is strong for research and higher studies preparation, but it is less industry-oriented.
Other: CUSB offers a peaceful academic environment with a growing campus, library resources, and opportunities for research. However, extracurricular activities, industry exposure, and placements are still limited. So students aiming for competitive exams or higher studies will benefit more here than those seeking immediate jobs.

    My Central University in Words.
Placements: Approximately 20-30% of students are placed in my course, with the average package being approximately 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include the Azim Premji Foundation and other NGOs and colleges. The History subject plays a main role in the teaching sector, for both colleges and private institutions, especially for lecturers and professors.
Infrastructure: Central University of South Bihar is a central university. Its infrastructure is unique, with a red stone building. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and there is one central library for students and research scholars. The campus is eco-friendly, fully green, and under CCTV. A cafeteria and canteen are also available.
Faculty: The university faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. The staff is good and supportive. The course curriculum is based on the modern education system. Four-semester exams are held on time, and each semester includes a 30-mark internal exam. Students can also recheck their exam copies.
