The CUET PG Syllabus is released on the official site by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for those students who wish to appear for the exam and are preparing for it. To avail the syllabus in English, candidates need to visit the official website of NTA, i.e. exams.nta.ac.in.

Those applicants who wish to get admission to CUET Participating Universities to their preferred courses, such as MA in English, must prepare for the CUET PG exam with the help of the CUET PG syllabus. Through this exam, students can pursue their preferred courses at some of the best institutions and colleges in India. The exam was held between March 13 and 31, 2025. The exam was conducted across 312 examination centres in India and overseas. 

The LAQP01 syllabus for English is distributed in 7 sections. There were a total of 75 MCQ questions in the CUET PG English question paper 2025, and the topics that were asked were subject-specific. The English paper was both in Hindi and English, and students needed to answer all the questions. All 75 MCQ questions are asked from the CUET PG syllabus, and it is mandatory for students to attempt all the questions to qualify through this exam.

CUET PG English Exam Pattern 2025

Before knowing in detail about the CUET PG English syllabus, candidates can take a look at the CUET PG 2025 exam pattern. CUET PG English exam pattern has been revised in the academic session 2024. As per the information brochure, the CUET PG English exam will include only domain knowledge questions which in this case will be based on the English domain only. There will be only 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the particular course to which the candidate has applied. These domain-specific questions will now be there to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2025 examination. Other changes include reducing the exam duration to 90 minutes.

Age Limit

The authorities have not specified any age limit for the MA in English programme. Merely a bachelor's degree/equivalent examination in any domain is required. 

Educational Qualification

  • Delhi University (DU): Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University, Or  BA (Hons) in English from the University of Delhi.
