To seek direct admission for the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) course at DPSRU, the eligibility criteria include:- Passing the Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12-year course), or the Indian School Examination with English and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), and/or Biology (PCB/PCMB) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks in aggregate.- Passing the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with the same subjects and marks.- Having any other equivalent qualification, including the National Institute of Open School approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.- Passing the Intermediate examination in Science from Indian Universities with the same subjects and marks.

DPSRU is strict about the eligibility requirements for Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) course, and the requirements are as follows:- The candidate should have passed any of the following examinations in all the optional subjects and compulsory subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics including English as one of the compulsory subjects): Intermediate examination in ScienceThe First Year of the three-year degree course in Science10+2 Examination (Academic stream) in SciencePre-degree examinationAny other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations- The candidate should have a minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practical classes separately in each subject to be eligible for appearing at the Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-I) and (Part-II) examinations.- A candidate can have a relaxation of 10% attendance on medical grounds by producing a certificate from a medical officer of a government hospital, and a 5% relaxation by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty. - The candidate should secure at least 40% marks in each of the subjects separately in theory examination, including sessional marks, and at least 40% marks in each of the practical examinations, including sessional marks, to pass the Diploma in Pharmacy examination.
